On Monday, the court was told call records and data obtained from phones recorded Ms Wandelt repeatedly demanding Madeleine's mother for a biological test during the past two years.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - at the age of three during a trip in Portugal - is one of the most publicized missing child cases and continues to be unsolved.

'I Am Not Seeking Money'

One voicemail, presented in court, recorded Ms Wandelt saying: "I understand I'm heavy and plain like Madeleine used to be, but I feel what I believe."

While another instance of Ms Wandelt's one-way conversations with Mrs McCann's voicemail expressed: "Imagine there is a small chance that I'm her? Then what? Isn't that important for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I possess a existence here in Poland, I just want to know," she added.

The tribunal was advised that by means of electronic messages, text messages and calls, Ms Wandelt demanded a DNA test, forwarded childhood photos to her phone in a attempt to display a likeness to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and claimed to have "memories" from a youth with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, an intelligence analyst with Leicestershire Police who collated the information, advised the court there "seemed to lack any replies" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also reached out to close associates of the McCanns, according to the communication logs.

On 9 October 2024, Gerry McCann answered a call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "the wrong phone."

During that incident Ms Wandelt recorded a voicemail on Mrs McCann's voicemail saying "I will persist and I will prove my position."

The court heard the co-defendant established a relationship via internet with Ms Wandelt preceding assisting her on a visit to the McCanns' home in the county in December 2024.

Communication data demonstrated Mrs Spragg had communicated using messaging service to Mrs McCann to express the news outlets had characterized Ms Wandelt as "a crazy person" but that she ought to be considered genuine in the period before the trip to Rothley, Leicestershire, in last December.

The court learned message exchanges between the two defendants, in that autumn, considering trying to obtain Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her trash or from cutlery at a eating establishment.

"We have to take action," the co-defendant advised Ms Wandelt.

On the night of the appearance to their home, Mrs Spragg sent a text which stated: "We find ourselves sitting adjacent to the McCanns' residence with our headlights off resembling private investigators. I wanted to do this with Peter Andrew I hadn't anticipated I would be engaged in this with the McCanns."

The trial continues.
